Wedding videographer alternative

A real wedding video, without the videographer price tag.

A professional videographer is wonderful if the budget stretches to one. When it does not, your wedding does not have to go unfilmed. Phones Up turns the phone clips your guests already shoot into a professionally edited video, for a few hundred dollars instead of a few thousand.

The honest comparison

We will not pretend these are the same product. They are different videos, and couples deserve to hear the difference plainly.

A professional videographer

Dedicated cameras and professional audio. A trained eye directing coverage all day. Cinematic, polished footage from one or two camera angles. Often two thousand dollars or more, and worth it when the budget allows.

Phones Up

Your guests' phones, recording from every seat in the room. The candid moments no camera crew would catch, shot by the people who know you best. Professionally edited with licensed music for $299 to $899, and delivered in 3 to 7 days.

Already have a videographer booked? We work happily alongside them and catch the moments their cameras miss.

Questions couples ask us

Why is this so much cheaper than a videographer?

Because the recording is already happening. Your guests shoot hundreds of clips on their phones at every wedding. You are paying for the part that actually takes a professional: gathering it all in one place and editing it into a video worth keeping.

Will phone footage actually look good?

Modern phones shoot beautiful video, and our editors pick the strongest moments, steady the flow, and grade everything into one consistent style. Expect candid and joyful rather than cinematic: real laughter over posed shots.

What if only a few guests upload?

If fewer than 10 usable clips arrive, we will not stretch them into a thin video. We will give you the gallery link instead, plus a partial refund. In practice, asking three to five guests personally makes all the difference.

Can we book this alongside a videographer?

Yes, and couples do. A videographer covers the ceremony and the formal moments. Your guests catch everything else: the table laughter, the dance floor, the hugs nobody staged.
